Not the National Astronomy Meeting 1998

Five mad astronomers in the form of mdl, rejs, ser, hma and rmb decided to go to a conference in St. Andrews in March/April 1998. As well as going to lots of interesting talks, we did a little sight-seeing on the way there and back. And had lovely weather. For ducks or penguins.

Highlights included Hadrian's Wall, where Mark got the boot; the sea around the East Neuk of Fife (where we actually saw some sunshine); avoiding the golf in St Andrews; and then meeting some chap called Bruce in Stirling. G'day.
